You connect your own Anthropic API key in Settings, and Mailnurse uses it to generate and rewrite copy. Costs are shown per draft and rolled up monthly so AI spend is never a surprise. Typically well under a dollar for a full multi-step sequence.
How does the spam check work?
Two layers. A deterministic list of 360+ known trigger words and phrases always runs (no AI cost). On top, an optional model pass catches subtler risks: over-promising, urgency stacking, suspicious formatting. Each finding carries a severity, and a draft only reaches "ready" with zero high-severity hits.
